Foreman is the AI assistant built into CabiPro. It reads your own records - stock, jobs, suppliers, clients, staff - and answers in plain English, with a link to every record it used. No reports to build. No filters to set.
You know the sheet count is recorded. You know which supplier it came from is recorded. Finding either means remembering which screen it lives on, which filter to set, and what the item was actually called when someone typed it in eighteen months ago.
Foreman does not answer from memory or from what it read on the internet. It goes and finds your records first, then writes the answer from those - which is why it can show you exactly where every answer came from.
Every item, supplier, client, project, lot and staff record in your shop is turned into a mathematical fingerprint and stored alongside the original. When a record changes, its fingerprint is updated with it.
Foreman works out what you are actually asking about - materials, a job, a supplier - and narrows the search before it starts. Ask about white melamine and it does not go trawling through your staff list.
It finds the closest matches by meaning rather than exact spelling, then loads the full, live records for the strongest few straight from your database - not a stale copy.

Every search is locked to your organisation before it runs. Foreman is structurally incapable of returning another business's records - the isolation sits in the query itself, not in a filter applied afterwards.
The language model runs on infrastructure we control, not a third-party AI provider. Your client list, job costings and supplier pricing are never handed to an external service to be processed or trained on.
Foreman answers only from the records it retrieved. If your data does not contain the answer, it says so and points you at where to look - rather than inventing a number that sounds plausible.

A search box matches the letters you typed. Foreman matches what you meant - ask for white board and it will find 18mm white melamine, because it understands the two are related. It then reads the records it found and writes you an answer, rather than handing back a list to sift through.
It is instructed to answer only from the records it retrieved from your database, and to say so plainly when your data does not contain the answer. That said, Foreman is in beta and is still learning your business - always verify anything critical against the record itself, which is exactly why every answer links its sources.
